TP-LinkはAlexaやGoogleアシスタントに対応した人気スマートプラグへのHomeKit対応計画を中止したことがわかりました。
TP-Linkは今年1月に開催されたCESにてHomeKitの2019年前半のサポートを発表していましたが、Redditユーザーによれば、HomeKitに関するドキュメントをサポートFAQにて発見したとの事。
そのドキュメントにはロードマップの変更により、スマートプラグ(HS105)はHomeKitをしないと書かれており、既存のユーザーでサポート開始を待ち望んでいた方には悲しい知らせとなりそうです。
Due to changes in our roadmap, the Kasa Smart Plug Mini (HS105) smart plug will not offer support for Apple HomeKit.
